The Perfect Vacation

Hellllooooo Thanksgiving Break!

I am so glad to see you! This school year feels all-consuming and breaks from school allow me to find myself again. The first day of a break always feels like a welcome home party. Remember this place? Remember the things you like to do? Yeah...get settled in.

Today I went to my happy place (Target), did some crafty projects, spent some quality time with the pup, who is still recovering from being neutered last week, and cleaned up the house a bit. I am so looking forward to spending the rest of the week with family and friends. It's been way too long!

With vacation on my brain, I'm linking up with Sunny Days in Second Grade for her My Truth Monday series.

Today it's all about your perfect vacation. Here we go!

  2. Your post made me laugh about not wanting to go to a museum or learn new things!! So funny! I like both kinds of vacations...but if I had to pick one, I think I would go tropical too.

  3. Agreed! A romance novel and cocktail in hand is a great vacay!

  5. This made me laugh out loud! Haha. A People magazine and some sun on my pale white skin is what I need!
