Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy Craft

Recently I've been in love with the burlap projects plastered all over Pinterest. I especially love the burlap wreaths, but to be quite honest, burlap doesn't love me. I picked up some burlap at the craft store last fall, and while attempting to make a bunting, I started breaking out in hives. Fantastic. So my love for burlap will forever need to be from afar. Enter this easy peasy lemon squeezy craft I came up with!

I walked in to Michael's Craft Store and saw this beauty hanging in the entryway.

A puffy burlap wreath already made just for me? Swoon! I threw it in the cart, looked at my mom and said, "This is going to be a dangerous shopping trip. I can feel it already." As I walked through the store with a bazillion projects on my mind I happened upon these beauties:

I'm not sure their purpose exactly, as they were hanging out by the ribbon, but I thought they would be perfect to bling out my wreath. When I saw that they simply had a clip on the back that I could stick right on to the wreath, I was even more excited. Here's what I came up with.

I love it because I can change out the flowers and add other fancies depending on the season or holiday.

Cute, Quick Easter Craft

Stopping by with a quick but cute Easter craft. I saw this pin on Pinterest and thought it was pretty fantastic.

It involved a foam wreath, two white boas, and a bunny ear headband. When I went to the craft store for the items, I found a wreath with white feathers on it in clearance section-score! The easy craft just got even easier! I hot glued the headband to the back of the wreath, added some ribbon and was done! I think it took me all of five minutes. The longest part was waiting for the hot glue gun to warm up.

Happy Crafting!

Christmas Bow Wreath

I'm back with another crafternoon project. This one is for decking your halls.
I saw this pin on Pinterest by Censational Girl and immediately knew I had to give a bow wreath a try.
I picked up a couple straw wreaths at the craft store and some bows from Target and got started. Leaving the plastic on the wreath, peel the backing off of the bows, add a small dab of hot glue, and stick the bows on randomly.
I made a small one for my sister in-law but failed to take pictures before handing it off. I also made this small one in red, white and silver for myself.
Finally, I made this larger one for my mom. I think I actually like the larger size better.
 Simple and pretty.

Melted Snowman Ornament

A Christmas crafternoon started off with the melted snowman ornaments floating around Pinterest. Super easy, super fast, super cute.

Here's what you need:
clear ornaments (plastic or glass)
salt
peppercorns
orange Fimo clay
ribbon (optional)

Roll out some noses from the Fimo clay and bake according to directions. Let cool.
Pour some salt in the ornament and add the desired amount of peppercorns. Add a nose and reattach the top of the ornament. Tie ribbon to the top of the ornament. Ta-da!

I made some cute tags with a melted snowman poem to attach to the ornaments.

These would make great gifts for parents and would be simple for the students to make. I am attaching the ornaments to Christmas gifts this year to family and friends.

Check back for another crafternoon project!
