Hello June!

Happy June! I am so glad May is behind us. It was a crazy month to say the least. There are 3 more days of school and I am so READY for summer!

On the last day of school we're having a luau breakfast party. The parents are taking care of all of the food and drinks, but for some reason it just occurred to me to have some activities for the kids to do.

I usually do center parties, where students rotate through centers, with one of the stops being at the food table. So this morning my mind is on what other easy to prep activities I can have the students do. I thought about lei making, but don't really want to cut up hundreds of straws and paper flowers this weekend.

I know for sure we'll be playing Beach Bump via Sunny Days in Second Grade because the students love them some bump games. Later in the day we'll also be blowing up beach balls and signing them.

For the centers, I thought of something easy like a coloring page or word search, because it's the last day of school after all, but I have a student that requires any sort of worksheet to be scanned and uploaded to a computer so that she can access it through a device, so I'd rather stay away from things like that.

Any suggestions wonderful readers? Leave me a comment if you have any brilliant ideas for me, I'd love to hear them!
