Tell Me Something Good

Happy Thursday everyone! It's time to talk about the good things happening- a great way to start the day!

Something Good at School:
With testing starting next week, I spent yesterday afternoon getting my room ready. I took down the reading and math bulletin boards and have blank slates in my room right now. I LOVE it. Why? Because I finally get to put up kids artwork and poetry and other fun stuff they've been working on, instead of standards, objectives, and strategy posters. It will actually look like KIDS are in my room all day!

Something Good at Home:
I am super excited about this weekend. My birthday is on Saturday and I'm spending the day going on a shopping spree. I don't think I've ever been more excited about my birthday. And perfect timing too, because my flat iron gave out this morning.

Shopping lessens the blow of turning another year older.

Link up the good things in your life.

  1. You are the first person that has said they are happy to have re-worked their classroom for testing - that's a great perspective - that made me feel better for when we do testing, thanks!

  3. I'm pretty sure my hair looked like that this morning. I have very curly hair and it did not look good this morning.
